Special CDC Board Meeting on January 9th

NOTE: The public meeting has been moved to 1:30pm on Monday January 9th.

The CDC Board will meet for a Special Meeting on January 9th, 2012 at 5:30 pm.  The meeting will follow a ‘stakeholder group’ meeting (3:30 – 5:30  1:30-4:30pm the same day) to discuss responses from the Request for Information for the North Fork Bioenergy Facility.  The stakeholder groups meeting will result in recommendations for the CDC Board on the most qualified vendor(s) to develop the bioenergy facility.  The CDC Board will consider this recommendation and vote on how to proceed. (If the stakeholder group finds that one firm is clearly more qualified and the Board agrees, the vote would be to proceed to the development of an MOU with this vendor.  If the group cannot choose between two or more firms, then the vote would be to ask for additional information or schedule presentations from the select firms.)  TSS Consultants will be in attendance for both meetings.  Board members are encouraged to attend the stakeholder group meeting prior to the Board meeting if possible so that they can be fully briefed on the issues.  Please RSVP to me in the next week so we know how many will attend the Board meeting.

The agenda will have only one item.  No other business will be considered at this meeting.  Please see the following for the agenda.
