More equipment for the biomass plant is being shipped from India. From the project manager:
“95% of equipment in India is packaged and ready to ship. We are finishing up gasifier packaging at the moment. There are some details that need to be worked out but hope to be resolved tomorrow or first thing Monday. Once that is done, we can project schedules of shipments leaving India.”

The bioenergy project team has closed the New Markets Tax Credit. This provides $900,000 in additional capital for the project! Check out this article from Sierra News Online.

You’ve probably heard by now that the North Fork Bioenergy project was awarded a $4.9 million grant from the CA Energy Commission. The project managers are taking this opportunity to do more outreach to the community to answer any questions and address any concerns.
