Here is a photo taken by firefighters from a helicopter. It shows the mill site compound during the French Fire. There were as many as 1,800 firefighters in North Fork at one time!

Water System RFP – Walkthrough
As part of the water system operator RFP process, there will be a walkthrough of the water system at the North Fork CDC for all bidders. The walkthrough will be on July 15 at 10am. Please meet at the North Fork CDC board room promptly at 10am. The walkthrough will be conducted by CDC Board member Tom Burdette.
Bring comfortable walking shoes and a hat for sun protection. The address is 57839 Road 225, North Fork, CA 93643. It is the office building at the front of the mill site property.

Here is a complete copy of the North Fork-South Fork Area Plan. It was last updated in 2003. The copy posted on the County website is incomplete (missing all even numbered pages). Odd, eh?
We will send this complete copy to the County and ask them to post it in place of the incomplete version.
